Is there someone you love so much that he or she is never far from your thoughts? Does the relationship drive you to make time with them and greatly anticipate their company? Would it even be fair to say YOU NEED THEM because that person gives you something magical, you don’t want to live without? Is your greatest joy in the presence of the one you love?
But—that person fails you just like you fail them—right?
That is one BIG difference between even the best relationship with another person and our relationship with God. He never fails us. The problem is that most of us never get to the point in a relationship with Him that we understand how incredibly good He is to us. Let me tell you from experience…
When God’s presence is my greatest delight, joy is an unstoppable force; like a mountain waterfall dancing in rainbows of sun.
But, my relationship with God didn’t start this way. I was once afraid of Him. (That story is on my video testimony) My friend, if you have never experienced a close walk with God, don’t you wonder just a little—what it might be like? What would it be like to be in deep friendship with the GOD Who completely knows you? What would it be like to feel adored and admired by the One Who loves you more than anyone else has ever loved you? He is waiting for you to ask. After I received the gift of salvation, God waited for over 20 years for me to desire to develop a relationship with Him. That He would wait so long is nearly incomprehensible to me! I’m so glad He did! My earnest pursuit of God is what you read about in these daily devotionals. In fact, the “how to know God” is why I started this website.
God is my greatest joy!!!
I desire for you…more than I can say…to KNOW the greatest lover of your soul!
God has solutions for ALL of your problems and desires great satisfaction for your soul. He is more than capable of supplying ALL of your needs.
He is God.
“See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and He rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with Him…He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his Hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord, or instruct the Lord as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding?”

Our incomprehensibly amazing God is the most powerful, most compassionate, most creative, most intelligent, and the most knowledgeable friend—we can have! He bestows ALL blessings—on those who love Him.
When we accept God’s gift of salvation, we are freed to live in His presence—NOW!
There is no problem too great or trouble too painful that God will not carry you through. Ask. He already has the answer.
When we live in close relationship with our Heavenly Father, He is our greatest joy!
