How To Become The Most Beautiful You

Share

becoming most beautiful you

Like most people, I’m in awe of great beauty. One morning, I watched the sunrise from the east paint the storm clouds pink, yellow, purple, and an entire pallet of colors I could not name. The clouds were periodically illuminated by strikes of lightning revealing the dark storm clouds riding the horizon just out of the reach of the sun’s rays. Meanwhile, the fog from the river bottom canopied the lush, green valley and filled it almost to the top of the mountains. Both the fog and the mountain tops were flung with random patches of golden sunlight. As the storm clouds swept up the valley, the distant thunder heralded the rain and a cool breeze caressed my face.

This was a morning sanctuary with God.

My words can’t do justice to the beauty God creates!

“The Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.”

Psalms 96:5-6

Each dazzling spectacle of Creation re-inspires me to seek this God who makes spectacular beauty His get-away. Does beauty inspire you to know God better? It makes me ask:

WHAT is it that God considers MOST beautiful?

Well, we know that because God is love (1John 4:8), His loving nature desires to be reconciled to the human race who have—chosen to reject Him. His love made a plan—to die—so we could live! (John 3:16) What a priceless gift He has given us. Dare we keep something so beautiful all to ourselves? It should not surprise us to learn that God finds those who share the Good News of the Gift of Salvation …absolutely beautiful to Him.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!'”

Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬

While physical perfection is rare; God gives us ALL the SAME opportunity to have an absolutely beautiful soul and spirit. Our spirit man is what matters most because it’s the only part of us that lasts forever! The most exquisite beauty is not measured by what we wear, our age, the shape of our body, the size of our muscles, or the color of our hair. When we glorify God, we are beautiful beyond any visage imaginable to the human eye. It’s amazing to know that God gives us ALL the SAME opportunity to be the best kind of beautiful. When we love others the way He loves us, we become truly beautiful.

Creation manifests God’s splendid love for humanity; and we are most beautiful when we do too!

  1. Beautifully written and expressed. There is so much eternal beauty around us that defies any description however..that we fail to see..all created by a loving God but yet we tend to focus on that which man creates and worships that instead..for instance money, material possessions, power and prestige, pride..image and impression..all perishable, here today and gone tomorrow and brings no happiness or fulfillment, only greed and self gratification, jealousy and misery..a loss of self, the self God ultimately created us to be. Our beauty comes from within us and has to do with being created in the true image of our creator..that of selflessness, love, compassion, tolerance, kindness, gentleness and forgiveness..therein lies our eternal value and worth and..priceless beauty.

Basic Bible Concepts: Part 9 Spiritual Growth

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you, when they revile and persecute you and say, all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake, rejoice and be exceeding. Glad for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” ~Matthew 5:10-12
