What To Do If You Are Spending All You Have And Still Aren’t Satisfied

At the end of each day, do you feel completely satisfied? When I begin to feel dissatisfied, it’s time for me to reassess where I’m spending my time and resources. It’s time for me to read Isaiah 55 again and really ponder God’s promises. I’ve added, thoughts God gave me as I read this passage. Perhaps it will speak to you as well.

“Come, everyone who is thirsty, come to the waters; and you without money, come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost! Why do you spend money on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy? [Kimberly, are you spending most of your time and resources on things that don’t satisfy?]

Listen carefully to Me [Kimberly, listen like you desire to obey Me], and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest of foods. Pay attention and come to Me; listen, so that you will live [in the way I intended for you to live, my dear child—in the complete satisfaction of a relationship with Me.]

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near. [Kimberly, the longer you play around in sin, the harder and harder it gets to come back to where you can hear My voice.] Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive. [Come my child, forsake your anxiety, worry, and fear and enter into the peace of MY presence.]

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways.” This is the Lord’s declaration. “For as heaven is higher than earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. [Kimberly, I want to give you my thoughts for your life!] For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” [Kimberly, I AM in control. MY Word is vital to your satisfaction. Seek Me with everything you are. Make ME your greatest desire and your greatest Master and—I will satisfy you.]

You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

From ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55 ‭HCSB‬‬

God longs to satisfy His children—He has a plan for you that is far beyond your wildest dreams.
