Do You Hear God’s Voice Behind You?
“Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him. For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. […]
God’s Invitation to the Most Remarkable Relationship
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and […]

Closing the Distance: A Race You Can’t Afford to Lose
“Then he said to Jesus, ‘Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.’ And Jesus said to him, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.’” Luke 23:42-43 In one of the most thrilling finishes in marathon history, American runner Nathan Martin chased down the leader in the final […]
Is God Fair?
Have you ever found yourself saying, “that’s not fair!” When suffering is undeserved or when we see others receive what seems like more (or less) than they deserve? The Beauty of Unity: Running Together in Christ
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1 One of the greatest joys of organizing and directing ultramarathon races is watching ordinary people accomplish what once seemed impossible. That truth shone brightly at the 10th Annual Racing for Daylight 12-Hour Ultra. The relaxed atmosphere invites people […]
The Only Heaven for the Unsaved; The Only Hell for the Saved
I recently heard a missionary to Kenya make this profound statement: For the unsaved, this earth is the only heaven they will ever experience; for the saved, this earth is the only hell we will ever experience. I was blown away by this thought! But it’s so true. Every person on earth, both believer and […]
