Our Limitless Significance In Christ

Share

live on purpose

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭12‬

In Christ we have redemption and forgiveness through His sacrifice, which is given “according to the riches of His grace.” God has invested in us far more than we can imagine when the blood of Jesus paid for our sin. When we are born again, we have the capacity to receive all of His spiritual blessings.

Is your life an experience of the richness of God’s spiritual blessings?

My friend, after we are born again, God does not leave us on our own! When we live 100% surrendered to Him in every area of our life, He gives us a life of limitless significance. It is through living in the mind of Christ—and attitudes of Christ—that we see God’s wisdom and strength pouring out all through our life.

Here is a short list of what it looks like to have a life of limitless significance:

  • We know our life matters because His presence enlightens us to our glorious purpose.
  • God’s presence gives us heightened discernment of His activity in our world.
  • The mystery of His will is revealed to us day by day.
  • We experience His good pleasure in all we do and we find great delight in being part of God’s magnificent plans.
  • We enjoy a preview of our great eternal inheritance and are more and more aware of His glorious presence.
  • We know our immense value is secured by His promise, not by our own merit.
  • We experience the gifts of the fruit of the Spirit and gladly share them generously with others.

Experiencing God’s unlimited significance is priceless. It radically changes everything about our life. Our worth is no longer measured by our abilities or accomplishments, but by who we are in God’s plan. In God’s great plan, we live confidently, knowing that our significance is grounded in His eternal purpose for us–to the praise of His glory—and not on our own fleeting life or frail talent, wisdom, or strength.

It is quite astonishing that God invests so much into frail human beings. He promises us an inheritance that staggers even the greatest human imagination. Let’s capture every moment!

Reflection

How does knowing you are redeemed and deeply loved by God change the way you live each day?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the riches of Your grace in Jesus. We praise You that through Christ’s sacrifice we have redemption, wisdom, and an eternal inheritance. Help us to remember that our worth comes from You and not from our own efforts. Give us the wisdom to live for Your glory and to shine as witnesses of Your love. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
