When I got to know God—I began to know the real me and—you know what? I REALLY liked who He made!
When we gain a greater understanding of who God is, our eyes are opened and we discover just how special we are to Him. We were chosen by Him! AND when WE choose Him, we also discover just how very special we are to Him. It’s quite extraordinary to realize how special you are to someone as powerful, wise, and loving as God. God said:
“But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
Isaiah 43:1-4, 7
When we stop allowing the world to tell us who God is and who we are, we enter a journey in our life that is more wonderful than we ever imagined. We discover all the glorious adventure and amazing love we were created to live in. We LIKE God so much, we fall in LOVE with Him. We like who He made us and we learn to love others like we are loved by Him.
Wouldn’t you love to know that every moment of your life you can be completely secure and satisfied?
My dear friend, this extraordinary experience is just one step away. Surrender everything to Him. He is calling you. You are precious in His sight. He has given everything—even His own life—for you.
