This photograph was taken in Mount Cook National Park on the South Island of New Zealand. As I stopped on a bridge to take this photo and watched the pure glacial water of the Hooker River run below me, I was awestruck. There, in the presence of my Creator, my thought was “I KNOW the One who created ALL this beauty!!!” I suddenly felt privy to the great secrets of God. His love for beauty created this scene for me to enjoy. His love for me in purchasing my redemption enabled me to BOTH wonder at creation and gaze at the awesomeness of His presence. How much more special it was to enjoy this scene in the presence of my Creator!
During my entire trip in New Zealand God revealed Himself to me in the stunning beauty of His Creation—what a trip!!!
When we know God by having received the gift of salvation, our experiences in Creation become supernatural. We join with Creation in praising God! The Bible says:
“But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?”
Job 12:7-10
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.”
Psalms 19:1-4
“All the earth will worship You and sing praise to You. They will sing praise to Your name.” Selah come and see the wonders of God; His acts for humanity are awe-inspiring.”
Psalms 66:4-5
We, too, are created for God’s glory.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
Creation praises; God and we are filled with the greatest joy when we do too!

I’ve always loved nature and felt like God spose to me in the warmth of the sun or a breeze that comes out of nowhere, or through birds , how I love to see the military planes train in between the mountains were I live..times I go to do a prayer walk the planes just so happen to come at that time and it may be different times I walk and pray. so many other things I didn’t always see God’s closeness nearness presence or feel it but more n more I am n through the spirit within. How I’ve realized how creative and artistic God is in the colors or clouds in the sky ..a river running , waterfall, the ocean n mountains, sunset n rise. so much more! just recently my brother went to heaven n it’s like I have felt him near n God has sent me a sign my brother is better now. but prayers for our mom she’s not the same. his death was a shock and it’s hurt n miss him . love devotionals God bless stay safe n well .
