Is The Evidence Of Supernatural Faith In Your Life?

What is the EVIDENCE of supernatural faith in a Christian’s life? Jesus said that even the smallest amount of faith in HIM means NOTHING will be IMPOSSIBLE:

..if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20

So, ask:

“Is your life primarily characterized by actions that make sense from a mere human perspective?”

OR…

“Are there personal testimonies in your life of humanly impossible things that God has accomplished through your life; that is, stories you can unequivocally say are miracles?”

When the full measure of supernatural faith in God flows through us, there is no experience like it!

To see God working miracles throughout your life is remarkable. What would you say is the greatest miracle on earth? Well, would you believe that it’s not the parting of an ocean, the moving of a mountain, or attaining millions in gold; but rather, it is seeing that a lost soul be born again into the family of God. The winds and the waves submit to God’s will; mankind does not. He does not force anyone to accept His gift of salvation. That is why it is such a great miracle when any human surrenders to Him for salvation.

Supernatural faith places us squarely in the mission of miracle working. It helps us to see EVERY opportunity to carry out the Great Commission of Christ. Our spiritual eyes see the urgency of the Gospel for the spiritually dead. We are strongly motivated. We know that the greatest miracles are accomplished in the trenches of spiritual warfare—bringing the light and life of the Gospel to victims imprisoned by the king of darkness. Supernatural faith radically reorders our life. There are times that we can barely make it through the grocery store without sharing the Gospel of hope lest we miss an opportunity. We are acutely aware that the person checking our groceries may not have another day on this earth.

And, oh the pure joy of seeing someone come to know Jesus and then being miraculously transformed by Him!

My friend, living by supernatural faith is addicting. When you experience it—you NEVER want to go back to living by mere earthly faith. The proof of supernatural faith is not necessarily attending church three times a week, tithing, singing in the choir, and praying with our children every night. Even those living by mere earthly faith can do these things. Christians must not abandon their supernatural faith and revert to living primarily by earthly faith. It takes us beyond what we can imagine. Supernatural faith levels the playing field for GREATNESS. Remember what Jesus said about the “mustard seed” of faith in the verse above?

When our greatest faith is in GOD, we don’t have to be rich, beautiful, brilliant, or popular to be WILDLY SUCCESSFUL!

Paul described the gift of faith as being able to enlighten the eyes of our understanding—in other words—it’s NOT blind faith. In fact, supernatural faith allows us to see the things we’ve never seen before because we’re looking through the eyes of God! The Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesian Christians:

…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the EYES of your UNDERSTANDING being ENLIGHTENED; that you may KNOW what is the hope of His calling, what are the RICHES of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power… ‭‭ ‬‬

Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬-‭20

The gift of supernatural faith enlightens us to the object of our faith—God. We see the world as it is instead of being limited by our physical senses. For example, I don’t always see a client’s problem the way they do. They may be in my office because of a criminal charge or a boundary line dispute—but the Holy Spirit may reveal to me that they desperately need salvation. He opens the door to share the Gospel. When I am abiding in supernatural faith, it is miraculously easy to walk through that door. I am not restrained or distracted by the “common sense” issues of the physical world. God will help me to take care of their legal problem AND help me to make enough money to pay the bills.

Supernatural faith allows the wisdom and power of God, and the fruits of His Spirit to flow through us unchecked by earthly convention.

This is the evidence of supernatural faith! Our life is characterized by the strong presence of God. People are drawn to Him—through us. We plant seeds of the Gospel everywhere we go. We join in the harvesting of souls. We disciple. Supernatural faith distinguishes our life because we are no longer primarily controlled by our earthly circumstances.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7

Is this you? If not, do you desire to live in this marvelous gift of supernatural faith? If you do, tomorrow we will learn how.

Living in supernatural faith is the most satisfying life you’ll ever live!

  1. Thank you for the devotional this morning. I ask God for the opportunity to be a witness to someone each day but I am constrained by physical things as we are not to discuss religion with the clients. Sometimes I do seize the opportunity because it is clear that the person needs a Word.

    1. Amen sister! Another thought…the fruits of the Spirit…love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness…etc. are always welcome and often open the door to discussions that happen outside the office that allow us to introduce Jesus as the fountain of all this good stuff!!!
