God’s Awesome Answer To My Prayer!

I’ve been really experimenting with pushing the outer limits of my prayer life. I want to test the limits of the power God has put within me! As some of you know, after my 3rd bout with COVID, I committed to praying out loud for at least 20 minutes every morning. Praying out loud forces me to stay focused. It helps me focus on the movements of prayer God taught me that I shared with you in the 10 day devotional series on prayer.

Can I just say that this little bit of prayer time is yielding greater results than I can imagine?

It’s quite amazing!!! Let me give you a recent example. I had traveled to Arkansas and taken some time off work for the birth of my first grandchild. But I had to go back to Missouri for a couple days because I needed to train a new employee and pick up my son who is home on R & R from South Korea. I got up Monday morning, and I could feel the overwhelming pressure of what I’m calling the “APIMS Moster” [all problems I must solve]. I bet you know exactly what I’m talking about! I NEEDED that prayer time! So I started by thanking God for all the simple things He has done for me—that I take for granted, like—sight, sound, taste, smell, healthy grand baby, healthy granny, good job, godly family, safety on the road…and the list got pretty long! Then, I turned over to God 100% of my time, resources, heart, and…drum roll—100% of my problems!

Well, my friend, I can say this—I’m still in awe of how He worked out my day.

Needless to say, never in my entire life have I accomplished so much in so little time! ALSO—what I thought God had planned for my evening was changed into a delightful surprise. I was able to hang out with my son. I had him all to myself! We went to the gym, had dinner, and worked on our respective projects together in the living room. It was glorious! Honestly, looking back on the day, I can say that there are so many small miracles that point directly to God orchestrating my day that—there is not enough space in this devotional to write them all! I share this example because—when it is exactly how God orchestrates my day when I commit my day to HIM.

You see, when we give everything 100% to God, He manages it ALL so well.

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no abiding. O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for Your holy name comes from Your hand and is all Your own.”

1 Chronicles 29‬‬

When we live in the knowledge of God, we understand that EVERYTHING we have and everything we are—belong to Him.

When we see the wisdom and power of God managing our life…we are really quite happy with His skills. Our sincere prayers to release everything to HIM, frees us to be part of a plan that is greater and better than our imagination. God is so powerful that He flawlessly runs the entire universe. He’s so efficient that—WHILE He is working out all our problems—He still has time to love each of us. God’s imagination reaches far beyond our greatest dream. His imagination is evident all around us—right down to the billions who walk this planet with us.

God’s plan for your life is unbelievable!

It begins in the heart—giving it all to Him. After your spirit man is made alive through the GIFT OF SALVATION, you are enabled to surrender to Him and watch Him grow your life in ways greater than you can imagine. As you daily renew your heart within Him, your desire will grow to give Him 100% of everything you are and everything you have. All the greatness, power, glory and victory belong to God.

God’s imagination for you exceeds your greatest dream for yourself!
