Fall Into Everlasting Love

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we dedicate several of the next devotionals to the great experience of love. I pray you are blessed in God’s marvelous love!  ~Kimberly Faith

Ah, my friend, don’t you long to experience love that embraces you—flaws and all?

I certainly do! BUT—the enemy has convinced us that we WON’T find the BEST love from GOD. So we look for apocalyptic love in other imperfect humans. WAIT—before you disagree—think about WHERE you’ve spent most of your time and resources seeking the great love you crave. I know if I tallied up all the time I spent on my appearance and health over my lifetime—it’s going to be much more time than what I’ve spent pursuing a relationship with GOD! But as my relationship with God has grown in the last 12 years, thankfully, that balance has shifted.

I have found no greater love than God’s love. 

There is no one I’d rather wake up or go to sleep with. There is no one I’d rather spend the day with. There is no one I’d rather talk to about my day or share my problems with. Sure, I’d love to be with a man who has the same relationship with God—but NOT if it means compromising my relationship with God. If you want to experience GOD’s love in a relationship—look for someone who is filled with His presence. I promise, fully submitting your heart to God is the most loving thing you will ever do for yourself. It is only through sweet surrender to Him that we enter into His perfect love. God IS love. (I John 4:8) 

The Bible is God’s love letter. When He captures our heart, we fall into His supernatural love. 

“I have loved you with an EVERLASTING love; therefore, I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

(Jeremiah 31‬:3‬) ‬‬‬‬‬‬ 

When we RESPOND to God’s love by yielding ourselves to Him in faith, we begin to glimpse the magnitude of His love like Paul the Apostle prayed for the Ephesian Christians:

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to GRASP how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”  

(Ephesians‬ 3‬:16-19‬) ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

If you want to fall into everlasting love, look no further than God. God IS love and He CREATED love!

  1. hello Kimberly I have been going through some changes in my life health wise Im a backslider but I really want to start seeking god and have him back in my life i read my word daily but i know its more to it than that Im constantly praying that god heals in me anything that may need healing and because i believe He can heal me there is nothing he cant do i just pray that he blesses me with more wisdom strength my faith and healing I believe in him I trust him and I love him. Please pray for me and my health thank You. God Bless You

    I was reading your quotes about the love of God and I was currently in a relationship for 10 years but had to end it because it wasn’t what I was looking for in my future. It was all in the wrong direction and couldn’t get my partner to change so I had to make the change, God’s love has got me out of that situation and got me closer to him where I continue to pursue him daily and understand his word. Thank you for your message it truly is a Blessing.

  3. I listened to your testimony and a devotional. I am weary and I am tired. I am born again … when I cried out for forgiveness Jesus wrapped His presence in and around me … it was beautiful. From the very beginning I could not get enough of His word and now years later I am finding myself in satanic attacks that are meant to destroy me but GOD … I love that phrase. His love is all encompassing … His grace is abundant yet today I am tired and I am weary. There is a wilderness place meant to strengthen our faith … it is a place of preparation. I know these things as I cling to the hem of his garment. My prayer is for the joy of my salvation to return. I am going to do again what perked my ears during your testimony. I am going to get on my knees and start spending time, once again, every morning seeking His presence. I think of Jeremiah 12:5-6. God bless you.
