I’ve always been a leader and a problem solver; and so it’s been a huge shift in my nature to place GOD in charge of every part of my day. But, I’m learning that He really does EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE better than I do! Whether it’s my work or my personal life; my ministry or my leisure time—God does logistics very well and He sends incredible opportunities into every arena of life.
When I take charge, I’m usually just getting in the way of progress!
But when I get OUT of the way—I am so amazed at the lovely path of mighty miracles He works along my journey. His ways are truly addicting. So, now I deeply desire to consistently train myself to pray throughout the day for God to lead me in His way!
For the first time in my life, I truly desire His presence and His way more than I desire to live without Him or without His way.
Life with God is quite a trip!
God takes such great care of those who seek Him with their whole heart and make HIM LORD of their life. The book of Isaiah encourages us to seek God’s way for a very good reason.
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:6-12)
When God is in charge of your life, you will accomplish more and have more joy than you EVER imagined!
