If you could make each day be as amazing as possible—would you?
We often think that the right person, or the right amount of money, or the right job, the right home, or the right vacation….will the THE THING that will make our day (and our life) amazing. But unfortunately, ALL of our amazement from even the best things in life quickly fades. We remain disillusioned and continue to search for the next “amazing” experience to satisfy us.
I’m here to tell you that—living with God as LORD of my life produces the longest lasting amazement!
How do I know???
Please don’t consider this statement a boast in myself because it’s not—it’s merely bragging about God: I have stories to tell from my experiences with Him.
If you had told me that life with God would give me my most amazing experiences in life (before I’d experienced life with Him) I’d have thought, “Naw, God’s plan can’t be as good as mine.”
In reality, isn’t that how we Christians live most of our life???
Think about it. How much of your day is 100% yielded to God? Yep—I get it. What, maybe 10%—when you’re really on fire? The fact is, when we finally wrap our heart and mind around the truth that God does our life much better than we do, our life becomes the epic story of our deepest dreams.
We are either WITH God or AGAINST Him. When we fight against God, we will NEVER have an epic life—we will LOSE! AND—There is no half-way commitment with God. And—He is not half-way in with us either!!! The Bible says:
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
Romans 8:31-32
Just like we want what’s best for our children, God wants to freely give us all things. Each day can be as amazing for us as GOD desires for it to be!!! We simply need to yield every part of our heart and life to Him.
God wants to freely give us all wondrous things!
