The People Who Walked In Darkness Have Seen A Great Light

Share

light nativity

Today we celebrate one of the greatest events in the history of the world—the birth of the bravest and most extraordinary hero ever known-the Light of the world! His plan was to rescue all of humanity. His name is Jesus. Not only did He provide a way of escape from the eternal misery and imprisonment of eternal hell but He also gave us the ability to experience supernatural satisfaction. He died to give us the greatest love-relationship we were created to experience.

The birth of the Savior, our gift of salvation, is cause for great celebration!

My friend, it may seem as if darkness and evil are winning—but take hope—take time today to build up your supernatural faith, for it will strengthen you to live in great victory! Christ was born to conquer our greatest enemy—DEATH. The battle has already been won! The darkness will not last; and today we can choose to be led by Jesus—the Light of life! In the timeless words of Isaiah…

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.

You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; they rejoice before You according to the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

For You have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, and rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle, and garments rolled in blood, will be used for burning and fuel of fire.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭2‬-‭7‬ NKJV

Isaiah was inspired by God to write this prophecy about Christ over 700 years BEFORE His birth. Now, two-thousand years later, the light of Jesus is still shining.

There has never been any other human who has brought light to the world throughout history like Christ has: His light has been shining before, during, AND after His birth.

But Jesus, the light of the world, is ready to ignite your life. Are you ready? Have you received His marvelous gift of salvation? He will BE the Light of your Life. Don’t hesitate. Tomorrow may be too late. He loves you so much!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.‬‬”

John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV

Jesus, THE light of the world, is waiting to become your personal guide in this present darkness. He will give you hope so evil cannot deceive or defeat you! Hold tight to Him. If you are already born again, celebrate this day—when the dawn of Hope broke across the darkness! Allow Him to shine through you.

When God establishes His kingdom, darkness will die; and—light, justice, wisdom, peace, love, and joy will reign over the earth forevermore!

Because of Jesus, I will be there—will you? My friend, today is the day of salvation. If you have never accepted God’s gift; Please do it today—on this special day when hope was born!

Basic Bible Concepts: Part 9 Spiritual Growth

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you, when they revile and persecute you and say, all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake, rejoice and be exceeding. Glad for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” ~Matthew 5:10-12
