Don’t Miss Out On The Wonder And Adventure Of Loving God!

Like that described in The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, our journey with God can be filled with wonder and adventure which surpasses anything we will ever find without Him. Is this your experience with God? The Psalmist described his journey with God as:

“You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.” ‭‭‭

Psalm‬ ‭40‬:‭5

Are you experiencing the “wondrous deeds” of God? If not—why not?

My friend, to experience the wonder of God’s marvelous works in your life is not something reserved for just a few special people. Jesus died for ALL. (John 3:16). When you are born again, Jesus, the Creator of all good things, dwells within you. While our inner man is given eternal life, we also have the priceless opportunity to experience a relationship with Him NOW!

We must live in the presence of God—or get to know God. Knowing God isn’t just following His rules. The rules just provide us a path to experience a greater sense of His presence. We are born again into the family, but to be CLOSE to the Father, we need to learn His ways of righteousness.

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. Then I said, “Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me: I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” ‭‭

Psalm‬ ‭40‬:‭3‬, ‭6‬-‭8

When we know God, we delight in His law because we know it draws us closer to His glorious presence.

Dear friends, He is REAL.

When we surrender our whole heart to God, He lives and breathes through us. He gives us His vision and we are not afraid to follow Him and achieve what would be impossible without Him. This is living in the adventure of faith. WITH God, life is lived outside the box of human perception. For example, He inspires me, who can neither read nor write music, to—create music! I can easily fully give Him the credit for this adventure because I KNOW it would be impossible without Him.

Before I experienced a deep relationship with God I never, ever understood this phenomena and thus, I labored at being a Christian. I was stuck in the “sacrifice and offering” mentality instead of giving Him my whole heart and I never became enraptured in the “delight” of God.

I don’t want to go back to that life.

When I daily surrender my heart, He makes my life a wondrous adventure. I have a schedule and a plan for most days—but He always adds the gift of WONDER! When we begin to tear down the walls of resistance in every part of our heart, He fills every nook and cranny with Himself.

As we surrender to God, His Presence heals, fulfills, satisfies, abounds, overflows and–we live in adventure and wonder.

    1. Have you been born again? That is the first step. Many people don’t know how to know Jesus—so your question is honest and taken with much respect! If you are not born again, please read this section of the website (or the flip book of my testimony) and it will tell you exactly how to come to know Jesus. If you are confident that you are already born again, let me know and we can discuss your question more. Praying for you NOW! https://gofaithstrong.com/how-to-be-saved/
