I was privileged to interview Gordon Douglas, a comedian who has been the guest of many well known stars like Bill Haley and the Comets and Carol Burnett. He worked with disabled people for over 30 years. He has also supported hundreds of pregnancy resource centers all over the United States. And most extraordinary of all, he and his wife have taken in over 24 children and other people from off the street or who were otherwise in need of family—into their own home and treated them like family along with their own five biological children.
